Keadilan Sosial Dalam Kitab Amos: Analisis Eksegetis-Kontekstual dan Relevansinya Bagi Masyarakat Indonesia Kontemporer

Abstrak
Kitab Amos merupakan salah satu teks profetik Perjanjian Lama yang menekankan keadilan sosial sebagai inti dari kesetiaan umat kepada Allah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pesan keadilan sosial dalam kitab Amos melalui pendekatan eksegetis-kontekstual, sekaligus menyingkap relevansinya bagi Indonesia kontemporer yang masih bergumul dengan kesenjangan sosial, korupsi, diskriminasi hukum, dan ketidakadilan struktural. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan eksegesis biblika serta analisis kontekstual terhadap kondisi sosial Indonesia. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa Amos menolak pemisahan antara ibadah liturgis dan tanggung jawab sosial; iman sejati harus diwujudkan dalam praksis keadilan. Pesan Amos menemukan relevansi kuat dengan cita-cita Pancasila, khususnya sila kelima tentang “Keadilan Sosial bagi Seluruh Rakyat Indonesia.” Kebaruan penelitian ini terletak pada upaya menjembatani studi eksegesis dengan refleksi sosial-politik Indonesia masa kini, sehingga memperlihatkan peran teks biblika sebagai sumber kritik profetik sekaligus inspirasi transformatif bagi masyarakat modern.
